A sharp pair of snips is an absolute must when it comes to propagating your houseplants. A clean cut will reduce the chances of infection or rot in a cutting. The fine point blades also make it easy to make an accurate cut in hard to reach places.

Propagation Tip: To reduce the spread of any potenial disease or pest, be sure to wipe the blades with rubbing alcohol to disinfect after each propagating session. Alternativly hot soapy water will do the trick, just be sure to dry the snips before storing away.
