Spagmoss is an essential in any houseplant enthusiasts kit as it has a wide range of uses such as a propagation substrate.
Can also be mixed with Fernfibre for a premium propagating substrate (as Pictured)
PROP-TIP: Lightly pack moss into propagation pots and around your cutting to allow for maximum airflow. The #1 cause for rot when using moss is it being packed/compacted too tightly around a cutting.
 
It makes a great filler for our grow-poles or DIY moss-poles. It also makes a great substrate to wrap around plants roots if you are posting plants bare rooted because its lightweight but retains moisture to avoid the roots drying out.
Some people use it as their preferred growing medium for their plants but as it has little natural nutrients, plants that are grown in straight moss will need to be fed regularly, the GT range is IDEAL for this.
 
This Spagmoss comes dried, all you need to do to use it is soak it in some water until its light and fluffy. Wring out any excess water before use (you want it moist, not sopping wet)
